Our customers ask us what we think of the future of FM. We believe the future of FM is very bright. While Sirius and XM are struggling toward profitability, FM stations keep purring along. Of course, the biggest catch is that FM is, by nature, totally free so therein lies its biggest attraction. FM can sound amazingly good especially when the signal is captured by one of the Magnum Dynalab family of FM tuners.
By the way, did you know that the "HD" in HD radio does not stand for "High Definition"? If you check out the sampling rates of the HD Radio stations, you will find very low-fi sampling rates such as 48kHz. Evem the Apple iPod's de facto sampling rate is 128kHz which everyone acknowledges is way too low for high fidelity listening.
